Lundy was Marie Boatwright's and Virginia Carper's Hairdresser.

Marie and Virginia were neighbors and very close friends.

Since Virginia no longer drove, they scheduled their appointments together.

Lundy and Virginia became good friends, He was very fond of her as she was of him.

When Virginia could no longer come to his shop, he came to the house.

At Virginia's funeral, he sent a beautiful arrangement of yellow roses from his garden, her favorite color.

He was a gentle and kind hearted man.

Lundy cut my hair for over 20 years. He was such a kind man, always asking about my family and cats. He was so proud of his son and daughter, only wanting the best for them. Lundy had such determination and continued to work long after most people would have given up. I always enjoyed hearing about his beautiful roses that, by the way, are still blooming in the front yard of his former home. He was so close to marketing his invention--I only wish he could have seen that dream fulfilled. Lundy had a great sense of humor and he would make me laugh when he talked about his cats.
A great man who will be missed--I haven't found anyone yet who can cut my curls like he did.

I have been going to Lundy's shop for over 15 years and miss him terribly. One of the nicest human beings I have ever met. He is now with his friend Sandy.
